BMW World – Study 1

BMW World – Study 1

The BMW World, the largest attraction in Bavaria with 3 million visitors each year. I formed my own impression of this grandiose building.

BMW World – Study 1

The building was designed by architects Coop Himmelb(l)au, who have a truly wonderful portfolio (including the new ECB in Frankfurt).

After four years of construction, the museum, event, experience and delivery center was opened and the sign for BMW.

My point of view

This picture was a bit of a random photo. Just before the drive home I wanted to photograph the BMW World.
In Postproduction, I spent a lot of time into the “cleanup”. All the people were removed from the bridge (lower right). Due the mosaic-shaped glass windows, which reflect the street, I had to remove everything that distracted the building from the windows: cars, people, animals…

That’s why I am a bit proud of the result after some work 🙂
